Spicy lentil soup


Ingredients:
  • 28 oz diced organic tomatoes
  • tablespoon consume
  • five cloves chopped garlic
  • minced habanero pepper
  • two diced yellow onions
  • tablespoon butter
  • generous sprinkle of ground cumin
  • dash of sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • two chopped sausages
  • two cups Palouse lentils
  • 6 cups water


Combine ingredients in a large pot. Simmer gently for 45 minutes, or until lentils are soft.
